My name is Marian Hamilton. I have a PhD in Evolutionary Anthropology and teach at the University of Northern Colorado. I'm the mom of two wonderful tiny humans, and they are the inspiration behind this blog. Let's face it: parenting is hard. It's also something we've been doing since long before we were people! So, shouldn't our species' evolutionary past have something important to teach us about the way we are today? I sure think so. Let's explore our past together, in order to be better parents for our tiny humans today.
